It is not only audiences who are impressed by the CCE’s performance, but also specialist publications, such as Fono Forum, which wrote in December 2000, “ The Nordic Chamber Choir is obviously an outstanding chamber ensemble: tension and perfection are in equal balance, their joy in performing is unmistakeable.”
Also in December 2002, Classics Today wrote, “As far as vocal technique is concerned, the possibilities of the 22 singers are limitless, the beauty of the harmony is perfect.” |
When the choir performed in Limburg in January 2002 at a choir directors’ conference, the Nassauische Presse wrote, “What impresses one most with this choir is not just the clearly excellent quality of musical craftsmanship, such as the articulation, intonation and richness of tone; all that seems to be as natural for them as breathing. The extraordinary thing is really the unbelievable vitality and presence with which the choir holds the stage and is capable of creating breathless excitement in a packed concert hall.”
