We are
a professional choir, which regularly perform CD-recordings as well as radio productions showing in particular its artistic complexity as well as documenting the enthusiasm for these interpretations all over the world.
The European chamber choir has been invited to perform at famous festivals and concerts all over Europe. Regular collaboration with composers from Germany, England and the USA like Frank Zabel, Bob Chilcott, John Rutter and Morten Lauridsen emphasizes its international status.
The young and professionally trained singers come from different European countries and meet regularly, mostly in Southern Germany, for intensive rehearsals. Depending on the programme the choir uses between 16 and 35 choirists to create diverse instrumentations.

Already today Nicol Matt is among the few german conductors of the new generation having international reputation. Born in 1970 in the black forest, the allrounder studied sacred music, conducting, correpetition and singing at the conservatories of Stuttgart, Trossingen and Strasbourg. He is instructor for choral and orchestra conducting at several European institutions and has been invited as visiting professor in Japan (Tokio Gakuen Music Academy).
